Ready, Able.
That song is awesome. That video is awesome. I need some artfag friends lol. I think I might do a collage...maybe this weekend? I'm gonna get some varnish. I gotta do something artsy cuz i'm gettin ornery and weird and handsy. I don't think I really had anything to say. I really just wanted to post that video, lol. I actually have a lot to say, but none of it is worth typing, lol. But I do know, i'm goin to a show tonight, and the movies tomorrow, and the symphony sunday, and i'm freakin excited about all threes. I hope the weather is nice Sunday; I think it will be. It's almost spring! And my life is starting over again.

Family Guy Quote Life Application #71
"Ever since I was a little boy, people have enjoyed the sound of my voice. And I figured ya either get busy talkin, or ya get busy dyin." - Morgan Freeman, 'The Narrator' (Family Guy Skit. But then it's Shawshank Redemption too but you know.)
Simone: "I learned a lot about myself with you. I don't like having grey areas about myself and now I have a lot of them and I have to think about them and figure it out."
Me: "Oh you're gonna need to get past that. I like having grey areas about myself. If I don't have grey areas, then it means I'm not growing."
That doesn't make any sense. Why would you be against having grey areas about yourself? I mean of course you don't wanna be completely lost, but really? No grey areas? So are you perfect? Because we all need some fine tuning; I think not having grey areas just means you're lazy, or haven't addressed your biggest faults. And they may be things you can't control. But it's always good to do a self-analysis every once in a while and figure out why you're doin what you do. I have grey areas. I spent the whole summer thinking and figuring myself out. I don't have all the answers, and i'm fine with that. But I know if i'm not a better person than I was last year, I've at least thought about the deeper meaning behind some of my actions and try to channel it differently. And that's a part of growth. Who wouldn't want that? Coworker said "Well, if you aren't learnin you're dyin." Totally. If i'm not learnin something, I'm gonna get bored. If i'm not growing, then. I just don't know. I can't imagine not having a question about myself though. Not necessarily a negative question, just...fine tuning.

Family Guy Quote Life Application #44
"Old man Pressman. I own the junkyard. I'm cranky 'cos all my stuff is junk. Why can't I have nice things?"
I have a car. It clacks loudly when I make a turn and sometimes cuts off off on me in traffic. I can't take it on the interstate anymore because if I go to fast, it jerks violently toward one side. I haven't seen my mother since Christmas.
I have an apartment. It's small and the bathroom is awkwardly situated off the kitchen and is the only room with a door. It's drafty and has one gas heater sitting between the bathroom and the 'den'. It's usually around 62 degrees in my house.
I have hopes. I have thoughts to share, ideas to propose and love to give. I have social anxiety and fluctuating confidence. I have a hard time meeting people and a harder time getting them to stay. I'm an easy person to love when it's light and easy but when it gets heavy i'm almost impossible. I'm tired. I'm tired of being cheated. I'm tired of being taken advantage of and tired of people trying to get over. I'm tired of being stood up. Cancelled on. Why CAN'T I have nice things? Why can't I have a group of friends that won't cancel on me or stand me up? Why can't I have a relationship where people don't give up on us? Why can't I meet someone who's willing to give what I give? My now ex-girlfriend and I had a housewarming party when we got our first apartment. I invited my friends; she invited hers. Only one of my friends showed up, and stayed about 20 minutes. I'm ready for people who know the meaning of friendship. I'm ready for people who enjoy my company. I'm ready for people who are worth a damn. Having a car that breaks down regularly or a drafty crapartment wouldn't be so bad if I didn't feel so totally and completely abandoned/shat on by everyone I've managed to get close to.

Wha wha?
So I got dumped this weekend. (insert ‘awww/woo woo woo’ here) And have you ever been so confused about something all you could say was ‘wha?’ Like, not even put the ‘t’ on the end of it because saying ‘what?’ would make it definite, as if you had an answer, so you’re left with half of the word that most succinctly expresses confusion? That was me. And then of course, after saying ‘wha?’ I spend the weekend singing the above video. Not so much for the ‘woohoo!’ part, but for the ‘wha wha-wha— wha-wha..wha-WHA?’ part.
